Office of Divine Worship
Purpose and Mission
The Office of Divine Worship of the Archdiocese of Atlanta serves to assist parishes and the entire Archdiocese to worship God with rich and beautiful expressions of Catholic liturgy. It provides direct support to the parishes, as well as programs designed to aid parish clergy, volunteers, and staff; assists the Archbishop in his role as Chief liturgist of the Archdiocese; and provides organization and support for Archdiocesan liturgies.

Father Theodore Book has a license in sacred liturgy, which is a postgraduate degree designed to prepare someone to teach liturgy in a seminary or catholic university. He completed his studies in 2003 at the Pontifical Liturgical Institute in Rome, the same place where Archbishop Gregory completed his liturgical studies.

Barrett Elkins earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Catholic
College. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology and
Christian Ministry through Franciscan University of Steubenville.
